CELEBRATE THE 18th ANNUAL FREE COMIC BOOK DAY AT GREEN BRAIN COMICS!

Green Brain Comics is throwing their biggest Free Comic Book Day ever. Since the first FCBD in 2002, Green Brain Comics continues to grow the event, and create a unique experience for the attendees. With new & exciting FCBD comics, fun door prizes, and exciting guest creators.

 Free Comic Book Day at Green Brain Comics features NYT bestselling author Jim Benton from 11am to 3pm. Jim is the creator of Dear Dumb Diary, and two new graphic novels: Catwad and Clyde.

We will also be hosting several local cartoonists and artists under tent set up behind the store. Full list at the link.

 Visitors to Green Brain Comics on May 4th, will get their choice of three FCBD comics from a selection of almost 50 different titles. The list includes lots of fun books for every age from many different genres.

 There will also be opportunities to get extra FCBD comics and help out great community organizations. Donations of canned food, gently used books, and outdated cell phones will get visitors extra FCBD comics! We have partnered with Gleaners Community Food Bank, Friends for the Dearborn Library, and Cellphones for Soldiers as a way for our patrons to help their neighborhood and add to their pile of FCBD goodies. Other ways to get extra FCBD comics include wearing a costume and feeding the Friends of the Animals Metro Detroit donation canister.
