Brain Candy is a free, live program of prose, music, poetry, and visual art curated by the Emerging Writers Network. It is held on the third Monday of every month, and brings together talents from around the Detroit area.

If you can’t make it in person, the event is livestreamed and archived on Green Brain Comics’ Youtube Channel.

Prose - Dan Denton
Dan Denton – is a union autoworker and writer. His work has been widely published and he is the author of the novel $100-A-Week Motel (Punk Hostage Press, 2021) and the poetry/novella hybrid book ‘Finding Jesus & Prayers To My Saints’ (Gutter Snob Books, 2022).

Visual - Dalia Reyes
Dalia Reyes -- is an interdisciplinary artist from southwest Detroit and the Director of Contemporary Art for Galerie Camille gallery located in Midtown Detroit.

Music - Paul Einhaus
Paul Einhaus – is a Detroit based singer/songwriter and he is playing SOLO AS HELL.

Poetry - Barry Graham
Barry Graham -- is an artist living in Toledo, OH.
